Diary Entry #59
December 2011

Hi Everyone

Hope this letter finds you all well and happy.

Cruise was amazing!!   The most fun ever!  We got to perform to 2500 people who love country music, made some great new friends, rekindled old friendships, danced and partied with the girls, (and my boys) played blackjack, had a wonderful family holiday and laughed a lot!!!  I loved this cruise so much!!!

Hey anyone out there who has returned home do you feel like me..... like you need a holiday to get over the holiday??  Too much fun!!

Then went to Mud Bulls. Was a great gig! Lovely people.  Thanks to my gorgeous band for looking after me and thanks to the lady at reception who loaned me her pants! (yes that's right, I forgot the bottom half of my costume!! Never happened before in my 20 years of touring!! No shops in Kilcoy open on a Saturday afternoon so it was panic all around!!) All worked out great!

You know how every now and then my husband offers me as a prize in an auction to raise money for charity??? I'm guessing not a lot of you reading this have experienced this scenario!!  Anyway, today, I am going out to lunch at one of the most beautiful restaurants on the Coast with some people who won me!! Hope I live up to their expectations!!!

2011 has been a lovely year for our family.  We had a couple of fantastic working holidays (though I use the term ‘working’ very loosely!!) We got to go as a family to Norfolk Island and made some great new friends.

Then off to the snow! That’s working too coz it’s so hard!!

Then the Country Music Cruise was the holiday of a lifetime where we met some lovely new and old friends.   To finish off a wonderful year we got to go camping.  This year my good mate Beccy Cole will be our camping buddy!  Fun!

So all in all it’s been a wonderful year for our little family.

Jacky has brought us more joy than we ever thought possible and one of my greatest personal lessons I learned this year was that happiness is loving what you already have..

I hope you and your loved one’s get to spend some quality time together these holidays and had the best Christmas and New Year ever!!

Hope to see you sometime through the year.

Much Love   Gina  xxx
