Well hello everybody!!
So sorry it’s been such a long time….. I have been busy just getting on with regular life really.

Not a lot of concerts this year so far. But the ones we have done have been so much fun!! We have played in Lismore, Coffs Harbour, Gold Coast and Sydney with a trip to Perth and soon we are off to SA. Every show is always so much fun just because the 3 girls (Beccy Cole, Sara Storer and myself) just get on so well.

If I have any advice for up and coming singers it would be to treasure your peers. These people may well be your very best friends in years to come! I have the most wonderful friendships with Bec, Sar, Kasey. And we all started out together over 10 years ago and we have really supported and loved each other all through the highs and lows. I just can’t tell you enough how lucky I am to have such beautiful friends!!

Now some of my best friends are obviously very famous, but I also have friends who are regular people who I love just as much!! I guess the reason friendship is so on my mind this month is because it was my birthday recently and my friends sure did make me feel loved!!!

I had a couple of hilarious nights out with my singer friends (our local pub may never be the same!!)
A fabulous “Girls Night Out” with my other friends. (We danced and sang and thought we were very funny!!)
One night Beccy and Sara took me to Sydney (yes it was a week long birthday celebration in case you are wondering!!)

We stayed in an amazing penthouse with 180 o views of Sydney and then went to a revolving restaurant (very posh) then to a singer songwriter night featuring Sara and then to a nightclub!!! Ooh lots of wine and cocktails and laughter!!! A night I will truly never forget!!!!

If you are reading this Bec, you are the most amazing human being!!! I can’t believe we have had 15 birthdays together, tears and laughter, and helping each other through every high and low of our crazy life!! You truly amaze me!! Like I always say to you, Bec you are going straight to heaven!!!

I know a heap of my beautiful non famous friends read this, so I would like to tell the world how lucky I am to have all of you too!! Nat, my oldest friend, God I hope you never write a book about our life!!! You know way too much so we have to be friends forever!! You amaze me with your inner beauty!! Susie, my soul sister. I feel as though I have known you since before time!! You are so wise and patient and such a beautiful person. I am blessed to have you in my life!! Your parents sure did a good job of raising you!!!

There are too many of you to mention, but bugger it I will just in case you are reading because it is a time of my life when I want you to know how much I love you all so here goes! Thank you for your amazing friendship each and every one of you, Nat, Toni, Susie, Bec, Sar, Kase, Pete, Sam, Sue, Karen, Allison, Di, Marn, Aimee, Katie, Lynnine, Karen and Jill.

Certainly not least I want to mention my beautiful husband. Thanks for my gorgeous presents and for growing old with me (Now I am really catching up!!)

This has been a monumental birthday and a time to mention the beautiful people in my life!! I love this new age (yes I can admit it ok, I am 40) and I feel healthier and better than ever!!! So I hope this is a new beginning of more time with my wonderful people and just loving life in general!!

Can’t leave you this week without mentioning my beautiful parents, Nola and Graham. My parents amaze me with their love, understanding and patience. Mum and Dad, everything you are is what I want to be! I am one lucky 40 year old girl with an incredible circle of friends, beautiful parents. gorgeous husband and best little boy in the world!
From this day forward, I want to really appreciate what I have and love my loved ones more than ever!!! Ahhh!!!!
