Hello and thanks for being so patient!! My life has been so busy!

Well last time I wrote I was preparing for a very busy Tamworth Country Music Festival. That seems like a hundred years ago now!!

All went well at the festival! We had lot of fun ….
Thank you to all who joined me and my friends on the 3rd annual “Walk of Life” for the Leukaemia Foundation.
We had a great turnout and raised over $10,000 and lots of publicity for this wonderful organization.

One of the highlights of the festival for me was recording the new Songbirds live DVD. Our show was a sell out at TREC and had one of our all time favourite shows!!!

Beccy, Sara and myself were all a little nervous before the show but the fun of the show took over and we soon forgot we were being filmed and had a wonderful time.

We had some great special guests! Troy Cassar-Daley, Kasey Chambers and John Williamson all jumped up on stage and the three of us girls were so thrilled!!

Our DVD, The Songbirds, You’ve Got a Friend, comes out on May 1st. You can order online by going to our Facebook website. Other exciting new is that the Songbirds DVD is it is to be screened in selected regional cinemas – see my website for what theatres are showing it.

You can also check out the upcoming gigs for the Songbirds on my web site and there are more being added all the time. I also have my own show at the Halekulani Bowling Club on May 23rd – I would love to see you if you are in the area.

Also on the Songbirds Face book site you can even go into our competitions on the site and win some fantastic prizes! Make sure you check it out!!

On the home front, life is wonderful. Our gorgeous little boy, Jackson, is in school now and doing really well. He seems to be loving it, though would probably rather stay home with Mummy if he had the choice!

We are all very excited to have had the Easter school holidays coming up!!! We always love to have more time together!!!

Rod and I have been really busy working on our new children’s TV show. It’s all very exciting!!

And some of you may have noticed I am another year older!! Thank you so much for all the lovely birthday messages!! It really means a lot!!

Well, now that I am in my early 40’s, I can honestly tell you, I love it!!! I feel so happy and healthy!!!
Loving life more than ever!!!
I think there is even a tiny little bit of wisdom sneaking in!!! Ha ha!!

Anyway, it’s very late as I write this; we’ve been filming all day for a Songbirds ad. So I must be off!!

I hope you all are all well and we’ll maybe see you on the road somewhere.

A cute story …. Our son’s best friend came home from school last week and told his Mum that he learnt something at scripture lessons…..that Jesus died on the hot cross bun!!!!

Priceless!!!
