Gina’s Christmas News
Merry Christmas everybody!!!
Now if you are anything like me, you are running around madly, much busier than you thought you could ever be and it’s Christmas time!!!
Why do we always make ourselves so busy at this time?
So far I am not very organised at all!!
The three of us did our traditional putting up of the tree on the 1st of December (well actually Jackson had it half up while we were having breaky!!)
Our lounge room looks beautiful!!
I go a little over the top and this was my first year of having to let go a little and not worry that the tree isn’t perfect because our little boy decorated it!
But I have decided that it is the most beautiful it has ever been because he did it!!! (Though I did have to pull off about 10 metres of tinsel that was on the one section!!)
Anyway, the Christmas shopping will still have to wait, because as I write this I am about to leave for my last ever tour with the Songbirds.
What a wonderful 3 years it has been.
We never imagined it would last this long and we are so proud of everything we have achieved together.
I think we make beautiful music together but we make even better friendship!
Our music may stop, but the friendship will last forever.
Please don’t be sad if you are a mad fan….. We are happy that we had such a wonderful opportunity to be together for so long.
But the truth is that each of us must continue on with our own lives and careers.
We are each recording a new album. Mine is called “Old Paint”, a mix of old songs I love and will be out in time for the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Beccy is writing some brilliant songs and Sara is doing a best of with a couple new masterpieces!!
Our last show ever is at Lizottes. Our very favourite venue. We will be having a party and there may be a few tears and chardonnays!!!
I am very excited to be performing with Guy Sebastian, Wendy Matthews and James Blundell at Tamworth in January.

I will be doing all new songs from my new album (Can’t wait!)
Guy will be singing his songs with Australia’s hottest country band!!! Wow can’t wait to hear him like never before!! I am a huge fan!!!
I have recently been reminded what it feels like to be very nervous!!! Just when I thought I didn’t get nervous to perform, I got thrown in the deep end again!
I recently sang at the Premiers Christmas Concerts at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in front of 10,000 people 3 times in a row!!! Christmas songs that you never really feel like you know because you only sing them once a year!!!
Whooo!!!
Anyway, it was a lot of fun and I have to say a big thank you to Christine and her lovely Mum who dressed me in the most beautiful gowns from my new favourite designer, Leiela.
Ahh the Christmas spirit is really starting to sink in and fill our beautiful house!!
Our little boy is so excited!!
Puppy arrives, Santa’s coming!!
Life is wonderful!!!

Don’t forget to enjoy each other, don’t rush around too much, eat lots of yummy things and have a champagne for me!!!
