Applications are now open for the highly successful Gina Jeffreys Singing and Performance Workshops commencing February 2012.

The Gina Jeffreys Singing and Performance Workshops include the following:-
A 12 month course consisting of four 10 week terms (as per school year)

Each term we will specialise in:

• vocal tuition (singing naturally technique)
• warm-ups
  
• identifying the character in your voice
  
• relationship with audience
  
• discovering your "X" factor
  
• image
  
• stagecraft
  
• microphone technique
  
• harmonies
  
• show scripting

• how to become “gig ready”
  ... plus many more detailed tricks of the trade

For specially selected senior students, we will also offer the opportunity for further development - including guidance towards pitching for publishing and recording contracts. Recording with Rod McCormack at one of Austraila’s top Studios, The Music Cellar.

SPECIAL CELEBRITY AND MUSIC INDUSTRY SPECIALIST GUEST INTENSIVES.

We also offer optional celebrity guest or industry specialist intensives. These are workshops on every aspect of the music industry including:-

• songwriting. (Last years guest tutors included Lyn Bowtell, Rod McCormack, Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson.)
• advanced harmony
  
• stage makeup
  
• movement

 

SURPRISE “IDOL” DAYS

We offer surprise “Idol” days which we set up like a fully professional audition date, with guest judges and prizes.

 

LIVE GIG OPPORTUNITIES

 

END OF YEAR CONCERT EXTRAVAGANZA

Each year will end with a concert extravaganza where we will showcase your talent! (2010’s first concert sold out in less than 3 days!!
At our end of year concert, each graduate receives a beautiful trophy and there will also be prizes for – most improved etc.

MAJOR ANNUAL PRIZE

At the end of the year, record producer, Rod McCormack will select one winner of a fully funded recording of a single at The Music Cellar Recording Studio.

Gina Jeffreys Performance Workshops term one begins Wednesday, 2nd February 2011 and follows the standard school terms throughout the year.
(Beginner and Intermediate Classes will be held on Monday afternoons)

Starter Packs
These are handed out at lesson 1, Term 1 and include:

• folder
• welcome letter
• CD of 5 songs per term (full vocal and backing track)
• lyrics

Each week a full newsletter with lesson information, tips, inspirational messages, upcoming gigs and dates etc will be sent out.

 

Full Day, One-On-One Intensives

Scholarship

We are offering one fully-funded scholarship for our 12 month course.- all year tuition free of charge. This also includes all special guest intensive workshops.

Pricelist

Each weekly group lesson is $35.00 (GST inclusive) (Small groups with Gina on Wednesdays)

Beginner students group lesson with Gina’s new teacher, Emma held on Monday afternoons are $25.00

All fees to be paid before week 2 unless prior arrangement has been made.

Private lessons (GST inclusive)
- 30 minute lesson - $45.00
- 45 minute lesson - $70.00
- 60 minute lesson - $90.00

These lessons include all stage craft and vocal techniques listed for group lessons as well as songwriting and career advice.
